- Präsentiert zeitgenössische Kunst und Architektur aus Zentralasien im Spektrum von Tradition und Moderne. Installationen, Fotografien und Videos thematisieren neue Religiosität, Reislamisierung und ihre Auswirkungen auf das Alltagsleben; ergänzt durch rund 50 zeitgenössische Architekturprojekte der Region, die das Spannungsfeld von islamischer Tradition, sowjetischem Erbe und politischer Unabhängigkeit widerspiegeln.

- Catalog for the exhibition From the Red Star to the Blue Dome: Art and Architecture from Central Asia, presented at the ifa Gallery Berlin (March 26–May 30, 2004). Curated by Barbara Barsch and Philipp Meuser, the exhibition brought together installations, photographs, and videos by artists from across all five Central Asian republics whose practices address post-Soviet re-Islamization, the revival of religious life, and the role of women. Also documents approximately 50 contemporary architecture projects from the region, tracing the tension between Islamic tradition, Soviet heritage, and post-independence reinvention. Featured artists include Said Atabekov, Marina Lyubaskina, Yerbossyn Meldibekov, Almagul Menlibayeva, Elena and Victor Vorobyev, and ZITABL (Zitta Sultanbaeva and Ablikim Akmullaev).
